Scanning Film

After quite a bit of research, I've come to use this Linear Scan method with VueScan and an Epson v850. The one caveat I'll add is to keep the resolution balanced so that the resulting tiff file is about 1GB or less. My reason for this is I store my images on a NAS device and access them over a 1GB copper network, however Capture One and Lightroom both have a bit of an issue working with files larger than 1GB as do exif/meta data editors. I don't know how they would perform on a 10GB network and I'd love to try at some point.
